Park at the Edge of a Virtual World Level 

I created an animation that explored memories. Specifically, the modification of our memories through our recollection of them and the constant loss of truth with each recollection. I created this environment that has no boundaries, meaning the level is completely open on every edge to the empty engine world. I created a central computer system at the heart of the level that surrounds a fountain with a unique structure that I created. It shows panel styled monitors surrounding this glowing landmark. However, one of the panels is broken, requiring repair. This is a representation a memory that is so far from the truth, it cannot be properly recalled anymore. The lake on the other end of this "park" is used to represent a sea of memories that is slowly draining on the edge of the landscape. I created all the assets (park benches, tables, structures, bridge, stairs, lights, and materials) using Max (not foliage) and modified lake materials to create a double layered lake of two different lake materials, one transparent, and one a reflective blue. I also scripted events where the user can interact with the panels surrounding the fountain. These events displayed a start up screen upon close proximity to the panel and allowed the user to input text data into the panel.
